| На 30.04.11г. се състоя поредния 7 кръг от ДП по ръгби за мъже. Отборът на РК”НСА” гостува на „Валяците”-Перник в директен спор за запазване на водачеството във временното класиране.Студентите започнаха срещата малко пренапрегнати и допуснаха някои грешки в самото начало.Това не се оказа фатално и бързо поеха изцяло инициативата .Още в 5мин. след чудесен пробив по тъча на номер 13 Ивайло Иванов,същия проби защитата на перничани и завърши в центъра на вратата с първи 5 точки за студентите от НСА.Допълнителния удар бе изпълнен успешно от номер 22 С.Одаджийски и резултата стана 7-0.Тази ситуация се повтори само 5мин. по късно в същото изпълнение, но по левия фланг и резултата вече стана 14-0.Студентите наложиха изцяло надмощие до края на първата част и с отбелязвания на С. Одаджийски и П.Николов резултата достигна до 28-0.
Втората част започна без притеснението от началото на мача и НСА запази надмощието си,като студентите добавиха още три пълни есета и оформиха крайния резултат 64-0,с който възпитаниците на треньора Павел Велков са еднолични лидери във временното класиране .Много силен мач направиха номер 13 Иваило Иванов с 20 точки и номер 22 Светослав Одаджийски с 18 точки.
Като изключим първите 2 минути на мача,студентите изцяло наложиха своя стил и постигнаха това за което бяха дошли в града на миньорите.

| Sofia sevens a-side 2011
National Sport Academy will once again invite rugby clubs from all of Europe to take part in Sofia 7's ,17’th Edition which will KICK OFF on May 07, 2011. Visiting sides will have this great opportunity to get to know our capital city and its places of interest, and not the least to play in this very unique Balkans' Rugby Festival.
This invitation is for mens, students ,ladies, and old boys teams. The age limit for players in the men‘s tournament is minimum 18 years, for women it is minimum 16 years and for old boys the minimum age is 35. If any want to participate with younger players, you will have to ask for a dispensation before arriving.
We would be very pleased if you would pass this invitation on to other rugby clubs, that could be interested in a rugby tour to Bulgaria.
Tournament form
A maximum of 24 teams can enter the men’s tournament; teams will be put into 8 pools. The games will on Saturday be played on 3 pitches
On the second day the 8 pool winners will play a Cup tournament for the RECTORS CUP. The teams that finished as number 2 and 3 in the pool games, 16 teams in all, will play a Cup tournament for THE PLATE. The teams that that ended as number 4 in the pool games, 8 teams at all, will play a Cup tournament for THE BOWL.
The ladies ,students and old boys Cup will be played both Saturday and Sunday, the final form will be decided later, depending on the numbers of participators in the two groups.
There will be played 3 games per hour on each pitch, i.e., the tournament last from 10,30 AM to 6 PM on Saturday and from 9.30 AM to 3.30 PM on Sunday. We expect to play the 5 finals between 2.30 and 4,00 PM on Sunday.
Match rules
The BSRU committee is the highest authority during the tournament. Matches are played after the normal 7-a-side rules. These rules will be sent to the participating clubs after we have received their entry forms. Players can only play for one team. If a team, due to injuries, is in lack of players, the team will be allowed to use players from other teams, but only from teams who have left the tournament and from the same ranking, it also requires accept from the committee.
All teams must register their players an hour before start of the tournament, Saturday at 9,30 AM in the club house. A list of players participating in each match must be given to the committee before each match is started.
BSRU will arrange referees from England, France, Rumania, Serbia and Bulgaria, but if a team has a referee on the tour to Sofia, he will be welcome to referee some of the games. Please give notice to NSA RC as soon as possible; if you can do it on the entry form it would be fine.
